Will Smith and Nas are investing in a new app that teaches financial literacy to teens. According to BusinessWire Will Smith and Nas are two of the 11 members who will be funding this finance-based app called “Step”.

This all-in-one banking app will give teenagers access to bank accounts that will combine checking, savings, debit, and credit cards into one account. The app will also give advice on how to manage money, find reliable motley fool stock advisor reviews and other resources on investing, and integrate with Apple Pay and other online money apps. It will even give parents the option to monitor their kid’s accounts and set limits and guidelines. The app is also planning to use some of these investments to make sure security is high. Financial companies have to be extra cautious to prevent hackers from stealing data and important information. Luckily, fintech cybersecurity solutions are increasing, so financial companies are able to keep their customer’s personal information more secure.

This is a great way to help teenagers enter the real world. Finances are a big part of their future, and being able to manage money in the most effective way will help to make sure that they have set themselves up for a financially stable life. That being said, enlisting the help of wealth management strategies is also a great way to ensure that you have the right amount of money available to you should you need it, so taking the time to plan is a promising solution too. This, alongside the app “Step” that has recently been created, teenagers will find it much easier to navigate this stage in their lives.

CEO and Co-founder CJ MacDonald stated that “Step” is tailored specifically for young adults and will educate its users about financial literacy. “Schools don’t teach kids about money,” MacDonald said.

Although, money management is definitely something that should be added to the curriculum of every school, as teenagers will need to learn about this practice at some point or another before joining the wider world. It could range from learning how Alvexo Erfarhungen and their online brokers offer trading advice when it comes to CFD trading, forex, indices, commodities, and cryptocurrencies, or it could be as simple as learning how to save money to pay for a mortgage or how to go about investing money to help with retirement. These types of resources will go a long way in enabling teenagers to understand everything they need to know about money.

The investments of Nas and Will Smith, along with other investors, have garnered the company $22.5 million in funding. Thanks to these public figures, teenagers will learn the importance of money management.
