R&B Singer Chrystian Lehr is stuck between love and lust according to his newest single “Hoe Phase” which paints a modern-day picture of finding the one but not being ready to leave the playing field entirely.

Produced by Grammy nominated production duo The Hitlist, responsible for noted R&B projects from Eric Bellinger and Mya, and written by Lehr himself, the singer pours out his lyric-tenor vocals and flexes his pen over the emotive, mid-tempo track.

Famed engineer Jaycen Joshua (“Megatron” Nicki Minaj, “Royalty” Chris Brown, and “Free TC” Ty Dolla $ign) lays down an impeccable mix on the 2:47 second new wave R&B entry.

After a leading role opposite Ella Mai in her 2019“Shot Clock” music video, and accepting a modeling contract with NTA Models, this concept doesn’t seem too far-fetched for the 6’3 Los Angeles-based singer. “Soon as I get with it lock in and start to relax. One unlock of my phone and I start to forget all that,” sings Lehr.

The track is the first offering from Lehr’s new project “Offline 2”, a follow-up to his 2018 EP “Offline”.
