Vic Mensa Addresses Identity & Injustice In America & More In New 93Punx ‘3 Years Sober’ Video With Travis Barker
by Karen
Vic Mensa has been never been quiet about how he feels on issues and in his new 93PUNX and Travis Barker collaboration his message is loud and clear.
The ‘3 Years Sober’ video is a statement about identity. I put on a confederate flag dress to be able to laugh at a symbol of hate, and played tug of war with Mike Pence over birth control…

Vic stated in an early Twitter thread that he wanted to make a statement about identity. “I put on a confederate flag dress to be able to laugh at a symbol of hate, and played tug of war with Mike Pence over birth control…” He continues, “I had my face written on to get ahead of everything I know people will say about me and had a diner full of BBQ Becky’s call the police on me for using the women’s bathroom…”
If you follow the 24 hours new cycle none of these issues are new to you at all. From the controversial “bathroom bill” to the abhorrent war on women’s rights, Vic effectively attacks America head on with our number one weapon: freedom of expression.
