According to recent reports, Tay-K was found guilty of murder even after it was noted that he was not the one who fired the weapon that killed 21-year-old Ethan Walker.

Prosecutors argued that Tay-K was aware of the plan to steal drugs and money from the home invasion and that it would end with someone being shot. As a result, Tay-K is now facing between 5 to 99 years in prison.

According to CBD Dallas-Fort Worth, the state and defense rested their case in Tay-K’s capital murder trial, and the jury possibly will deliberate on the case by this afternoon.

Prosecutors finished making their case on Thursday ( July 17) by having the mother of Ethan Walker, the man who was killed, to testify on the stand. Walker’s mother said that he had just moved into the house with Zachary Beloate, and she believes he was shot because he didn’t have any money or drugs.

One of Tay-K’s co-defendants also testified that Tay-K joked about carrying out the robbery for a little bit of money and a watch. She also mentioned that two days after the incident, Tay-K and his friends had called a “code red” so they could be prepared to leave town.
