After releasing his critically claimed debut album, ‘American Teen’ in 2017, Khalid is back with his sophomore follow up, ‘Free Spirit’.

On Wednesday, Khalid hoped on Beats 1 Radio for a special Free Spirit Radio show with Zane Lowe. On the show, the Texas singer talked about his many influences during the making of his second album.

Khalid also opened up about being able to create and release a second album, “Oh my God. Releasing another body of work, an album, it’s just so amazing to me.”

Earlier in February, the “Young Dumb & Broke” singer announced the release of Free Spirit to fans on Instagram. The 17-track album features his pre-released singles “My Bad”, “Talk”, and “Safe”. The project also features John Mayer and Hit-Boy.
