In his latest interview with NME, Juice WRLD discusses the royalties he receives from his mainstream hit “Lucid Dreams” and it’s not as much as you may think. Ironically, the hit songs features a sample from Slash’s 1993 classic “Shape Of My Heart”, which the guitarist has said is a “beautiful interpretation” of his song.

With 90% of the song’s royalties going to the British icon, Juice doesn’t mind it. “That song is so much more expensive than money and what money can buy, it’s so much more touching than what money could touch. That song really saved lives.”

“Lucid Dreams”, which became Juice WRLD‘s gateway mainstream hit peaked to No. 2 on the Billboard charts and is certified 4x Platinum by the RIAA.
