TV One’s “The Bobby Debarge Story” has selected Big Boi to star as Berry Gordy in the upcoming film. Making the announcement via Instagram, Outkast MC Big Boi states in the caption of his post, “Just finished playing Berry Gordy in the ‘Debarge’ movie @swirlfilmsig coming Soon !” The post features a simple photo of Big Boi’s set chair.

Set to air in June, “The Bobby Debarge Story” follows the life and journey of Debarge with Roshon Fegan playing the lead role. Gordy plays a major part in the story as he is the founder of Motown and Debarge’s band, Switch, released album’s under Gordy’s label.
