Chicago PD have now arrested two men involved in Jussie Smollett‘s hate crime attack.

A spokesperson for the department confirmed, sharing that both men were arrested at a local airport on probable cause that they may have been involved in the attack against Smollett.

Prior to this report, it was also released that one of the men involved have worked on the set of ‘Empire’. Gloria Schmidt, lawyer for two men, have stated that both of her clients have spent time with Smollett, on set and at the gym, she told the Chicago Tribune.

Smollett however, continues to stand by his story, telling Good Morning America that he is “frustrated” with the claims that his attack was staged.
