The 2019 Super Bowl is only a few days away, and already, the press conference with the Halftime headliners, Maroon 5, is canceled. A press conference with the headliners of the NFL Super Bowl is a practice that has been a custome for many years, but in the mist of controversy, it’s obvious why it was canceled.
Because of the response from the public about Maroon 5 headlining, the NFL issued a statement confirming that there will be no conference and stating that “it’s about music, the artists will let their show do the talking.”
Maroon 5 will be headlining Halftime this Sunday (Feb 3rd) at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium with Big Boi and Travis Scott.
