Boosie Is Looking To Trademark “The Boosie Fade” Haircut

Boosie has gotten a lawyer in order to keep “The Boosie Fade” out of the wrong hands. “The Boosie Fade” has taken on great meaning since it was first popularized by Boosie himself after he appeared in the spotlight with the sides of his scalp shaven clean, while the top remains in a perfectly shaped high top.

The Baton Rouge rapper stopped by Raquel Harper’s BET program Raq Rants to discuss an array of issues, including his plans to get the “The Boosie Fade” trademarked. He told Harper that he has his lawyers “working around the clock to secure exclusive naming rights.”

The reason why the tall is looking for name rights is because he’s says he’s fed up with “Hollywood-types” profiting off the hairstyle when it appears in movies and television. He compared its intellectual usage rights to a production company using a Marvin Gaye song without a license. See the interview below.
