Earlier this week, a live show producing company known as Base Entertainment opened a casting call for people to audition for the late XXXTentacion in a yet-to-be-named TV pilot that is scheduled to be shot in LA between January and February 2019.

The casting call was posted on Backstage.com, asking for men of African descent to try out for the role of the late rapper, whom they characterize as “confident yet not overtly cocky.” They also are calling for actors who are between 5 ft 4in and 5 ft 8 in. for the short pilot.

X was killed outside a motorcycle shop in Deerfield Beach, Florida back in June. Currently, there are four suspects standing trial for his death: Michael Boatwright, Robert Allen, Dedrick Williams, and Trayvon Newsome. All four have been charged with first-degree murder and robbery with a deadly weapon.
