The West Coast is well known for it’s pioneers in hip-hop like Ice Cube, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, and most recently, Kendrick Lamar.

However, we live in an era in which rap and hip-hop music is continuously expanding and evolving. There’s a new wave of newcomers who are captivating the music scene and quickly becoming household names. Quincey White is one of those artists; straight from South Central Los Angeles.

Today, the emcee stops by to premiere his latest video titled “Mirror.” Directed by Yellow Nguyen, the visual finds Quincey facing a turning point in his life. Battling internal conflict, he is forced to make a decision.

In the video, he details his personal struggles as a person in this self critique of who he was and describes various moments in life where he is brutally honest with himself.  At some point everyone has to look in the mirror and decide if they’re happy with who they see.

“Mirror” can be found on Quincey’s most recent EP,  The 7, which is available in all streaming platforms.

Watch the video for “Mirror”  below and stay tuned for more from Quincey White in the very near future!
