Just after the release of Queen, Nicki Minaj gives us “Sorry,” a collab with Nas that was supposed to be on the album, but didn’t get cleared in time.

Funkmaster Flex premiered the single on Hot 97. In the song, Nicki is sending a message to her ex in the form of a love letter to an island beat sampled from Tracy Chapman.

Nas was the perfect feature for the song based on the fact that him and Nicki actually dated for a brief moment. In the lyrics, we get and inside view of their relationship before they broke up.

According to Rap-Up, The song wasn’t included on Queen due to clearance issues. Tracy Chapman refused to clear the record.

“Sis said no,” Nicki tweeted in regards to the record.
