Powered by its online social virality, ‘In My Feelings’ makes it a challenge to replace as Drake spends a third consecutive week at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 (Aug 4). Not to be outdone by breaking his own records this year, ‘Feelings’ lifts himself above Rihanna’s record 41 weeks in the number one slot this decade. A record that also lifts him ahead of Usher as most by a male soloist in any decade in Billboard’s 60-year history. Drake has now spent 22 weeks at #1 in 2018, ‘Feelings’ (3 weeks), ‘Nice’ (8 weeks), ‘Plan’ (11 weeks).

Among all decades, dating to the Hot 100’s Aug. 4, 1958, inception, Drake 2010s total is the fourth-best single-decade sum. Mariah Carey spent 60 weeks at No. 1 in the 1990s; the Beatles logged 55 weeks at the summit in the ’60s, and Boyz II Men totaled 50 weeks on top in the ’90s.

Nicki Minaj makes a splash back into the Top 10 (her second of 2018) on her new collaboration ‘FEFE’ with 6ix9ine. Following the track’s release last week, the song raked in 45.7 million U.S. streams nearly 80 million views on YouTube and 24,000 first-week downloads which tallies it at #4 on the Hot 100. ‘FEFE’ now becomes Minaj’s record-extending 17th Top 10 hit among female rappers with Missy Elliott at number 2 with nine Top 10 hits. Additionally, the song marks the highest bow of Minaj’s 93-career Hot 100 entries besting her collaboration with Jessie J and Ariana Grande ‘Bang Bang’ which debuted at #6. The song would eventually peak at #3, this new record for Nicki comes before her fourth studio album ‘QUEEN’ drops in August.
