Beyonce & Balmain Team Up for Coachella-Inspired Collection
by Site Manager
When Beyoncé headlined Coachella in 2018, she and her dancers were decked out in Balmain-designed sweatshirts inspired by HBCUs.
On July 13, Bey and the couture fashion house will launch a collection of the same pink and yellow sweatshirts you saw at Coachella, plus a new black t-shirt, as Vogue reports. The shirts will sell for $290 and sweatshirts for $550–$1,790.
All proceeds from the sales will benefit United Negro College Fund. “The donation was the main goal of this collaboration,” Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing told Vogue. “We don’t forget where we come from.”
All items go on sale Friday, July 14 at balmain.com and beyonce.com.
