Drop the top and turn up the volume, wherever you are the weather is good and the drinks are flowing. Blast these songs from these new buzzing artists and get familiar. Let us know what you think below.

Artist: City Girls

Track: I’ll Take Your Man

Hot Take: A buzz like none other, the Miami duo has been going viral for their explicit verses and throttling production. Think the home cooked flavor of Trina x 2, City Girls flip the classic “I’ll Take Your Man’ sample from Salt-N-Pepa and make it their own. Ones to watch in 2018.

Artist: Bryce Vine

Track: Drew Barrymore (ft. Wale)

Hot Take: NYC born Bryce Vine dips his LA style into his music which blends more R&Pop to Hip-Hop. Bryce rhymes about meeting the next ‘Drew Barrymore’,  comparing his new girl to the coy Never Been Kissed starlet who was once Hollywood’s golden child. SZA has also referenced the gleeful innocence of Drew’s youth in her song of the same name on her album Ctrl.

Artist: June3rd

Track: Fraction (ft. Nbdy)

Hot Take: Florida native June3rd fits right into the ever changing landscape of music. With the lines continuing to blur between various genres, June3rd brings a new level of melodic rap styling to the game. ‘Fraction’ is all about getting all of the one you want, “f*ck a fraction”, a concept.

Artist: Namesake. w/ pinkcaravan!

Track: Vroom Vroom (ft. Sam Stan)

Hot Take: Producer Namesake. taps pinkcaravan! for the 64-bit tinged “Vroom Vroom” lifted from the Dear White People Season 2 soundtrack. pinkcaravan! floats over the track with a simple yet catchy hook that leads right into a verse from Sam Stan. The Midwest duo are frequent collaborators that want “to be like Missy Elliott and Timbaland,” she told Pigeons & planes in October.

Artist: Lynx Supreme

Track: Not Guilty

Hot Take: this track about Black Lives matter movement and injustice in society hits hard. Message hits just as hard and the track does.

Artist: Beast

Track: Coloured Money

Hot Take: The Toronto rapper drops the lead off his new project of the same name ‘Coloured Money’ which is all about hustling, stacking and enjoying the life.
