It’s about time! The legendary Janet Jackson will receive the prestigious Icon Award at the 2018 Billboard Awards on MAY 20^th. The ceremony hosted by Kelly Clarkson in Las Vegas will feature the singer’s first televised performance in nine years

Jackson is in perfect company joining past recipients like Neil Diamond, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Celine Dion, Cher and Jennifer Lopez.

The iconic entertainer has been a fierce contender on the Billboard Hot 100 Charts with 10 #1 hits including “Miss You Much“, “That’s the Way Love Goes” and the upbeat “All For You” with an additional 27 Top 10 hits.

While the award may have been long overdue, we’re looking forward to Janet’s performance to show these girls how it’s done.
