Hot Take: Gaining noteriety from her critically acclaimed 2015 Urban Flora project, the singer-songwriter returns with another EP that expands upon that sound with an even more impressing outing. “I Don’t Even Know Why Though” sees the singer ratchet up the kick and snare while she rides over the beat about getting caught up in a potential suitor’s web.

Track: Sexytime (ft. Ye Ali)

Hot Take: The indie sleeper hit maker has been making waves and on “Sexytime” is joined with fellow indie rising fellow star Ye Ali for a bedroom banger that is sure to take you into the summer right.

Artist: Niqa Mor

Track: Love, Nicole

Hot Take: Niqa Mor made her much buzzed about debut with 2017’s “Thursday Night” EP featuring standouts like “Night Swim” &” Thursday Night”. The beautiful singer-songwriter melodically raps rapid fire in a dear john letter to her past on “Love, Nicole”. We can’t wait to see whats next for her.

Track: If (ft. Eric Bellinger)

Hot Take: Youtube vet Corey Mekell is joined by indie star Eric Bellinger on the thumping track “If”, that finds them melodically attempting to apologize with lavish ideas over a slinking production. An artist to watch in 2018.
