BET Networks and Youtube are looking to revive ‘Freestyle Fridays‘ from the classic video countdown show, 106 & Park. However, instead of the classic battle on stage, there is a new spin on things. BET & Youtube will be doing a video search for the most talented artists around the world.

The Youtube Studios located in New York, London, Los Angeles & Toronto will host the non-stop live stream battles. Rappers will select one out of three beats and rap for 60 seconds or less.DJs will select a finalist from each city in which they’ll be a top 10 pick. The rapper with the most votes by the DJs will wear the crown for their city for Freestyle Friday. The four winners will be flown to LA to compete amongst celebrity judges at Fan Stage during the BET Experience. The rapper who wins will be the opening act for the BET Hip-Hop Show at Staples Center on June 23rd.
