All of us have experienced the “take a group photo, but don’t really want everyone in the photo to be in the photo” situation. And, alas, we’ve all either cropped people out, or been the one getting cropped out. The game is the game.

For entertainment mogul Diddy, his crop game is on point. Whether it’s Kendall Jenner getting axed out of an epic photo, or more recently French Montana and Fabolous getting removed from a legendary picture with Hov, Kendrick and Nas.

Naturally, when Diddy does the cropping, the rest of us start to question why he did it, and after a recent sit down on the Ellen show, we finally have our answer as to why Diddy’s crop game is so strong.

“Sometimes my photography editor, he doesn’t let me know when he’s taking people out of the pictures,” Diddy said. “There were people that were taken away that didn’t deserve to be taken away.” Apparently there’s a difference between the #DiddyCrop and the #DiddyShop.

Interesting explanation there, Diddy. We’ll let it slide for now…
