Update #1: Less than a week ago Cardi B tied Beyonce with four singles on the Billboard Top 10 Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart. Today she has officially passed the Queen and become the first woman to hold a spot on in the top 10 with five different songs. The “Finesse (Remix)” has made its way onto the chart joining “Bartier Cardi,” “Bodak Yellow” and features of “Motorsport” and “No Limit.”

Original Text: In 2017, Cardi B had breakout success, garnered a number of accolades, and put herself on the fast track to be one of the biggest rappers in the industry for years to come. The first month of 2018 isn’t even halfway over and she’s already back to making big things happen, her latest being the fact that along with Beyonce, they are the only two women to post four songs in Billboard’s Top 10 of Hot R & B/Hip-Hop at the same time.

It’s like almost everything she touches turns into gold. She’s featured on G-Eazy’s ‘No Limit’ which currently sits at No. 2, ‘Motorsport’ with Migos and Nicki Minaj that’s at No. 3, her own hit ‘Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)’ that holds the No. 5 spot, and Bartier Cardi, featuring 21 Savage, that changes from the 7-9 spots.

Beyonce’s no stranger to Billboard’s Top 10 either. ‘Formation,’ ‘Sorry,’ ‘Hold Up,’ and ‘6 Inch,’ achieved a similar feat on May 14, 2016. But Beyonce’s a seasoned veteran, Cardi B’s a freshman with a looming career that will no doubt meet and exceed this already high standard.
