About a month ago, we had the pleasure of premiering a new EP and an accompanying video from a promising upcomer named Jayy Grams. The debut EP, titled Good Times, served as a great introduction for the Baltimore emcee.

Just a month later, we have another new EP from Jayy, this time titled Grime & Basslinez.

The 7-track project includes one lone feature from LOWFi crew member Von Wilda on a catch track titled “Mindful”. When asked about how this EP differs from the previous one, Jayy says:

“Grime & Basslinez to me is a new birth of rap in Baltimore. Good Times was basically to get the fans ready, but this project is me using that “grimey” Baltimore rap to make a new authentic hip hop feel.”
