New weeks brings about new music. What makes this week so special is that fans of N.E.R.D are anticipating the release of their next studio album, No_One Ever Really Dies. Giving us material like “Lemon” and “1000,” N.E.R.D circles back for one more treat before the December 15 release.

In what some may note as the most anticipated track among them all, N.E.R.D linked up with Kendrick Lamar for “Don’t Don’t Do It,” which also features contributions from Frank Ocean, who is not credited on the track. Tackling some political issues and social injustice, while the content itself is serious in nature, the overall sound of the record is fun and fresh. Touching on police brutality and even shouting out some significant places like Baltimore and Ferguson, due to major cases of Black men being murdered by the police being highlighted, N.E.R.D has made their newest era of music something that is very exciting to witness.

Further intensified by the rapid words and passion-filled verse from Kendrick Lamar, which is home to the Compton rapper tackling the system’s wrong-doings, you’ll want to hear this track. Take your listen, below.
