Post Malone & 21 Savage’s “Rockstar” Goes Platinum
by Ashley Vance
After spending four weeks in the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100 Chart, Post Malone’s 21-Savage assisted “Rockstar” is officially a platinum selling record.
Once the pair was recognized for setting new streaming records after the song’s release, it was only a matter of time before the RIAA confirmed sales had crossed the 1 million unit threshold. To throw in another accolade, the song just reached the coveted platinum status as the longest running hip-hop song to top the charts since Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles,” according to Billboard. Recently, Post Malone’s debut album Stoney was certified double platinum, adding one more thing to the artist’s long list of accomplishments to celebrate.
