There were so many things that took place at the second annual Complex Con this past weekend in Long Beach, California. N.E.R.D. hit the stage and previewed their new album, there was a live sketching session from Andre 3000, performances from artists such as A$AP Ferg, Gucci Mane, and DJ Khaled, tons of different interviews and panels and much more. One interview segment that took the cake at Complex Con was one between Jinx from Complex and two Los Angeles greats – Kobe Bryant and Kendrick Lamar.

Throughout the interview, both Kobe and K. Dot speak on their rise in their respective careers, the correlation between basketball and rapping, maintaining that competitive spirit and their overall evolution to greatness. Check out the full interview below.
