After shutting down his set at Made In America out in Philadelphia this past weekend, Vic Mensa made his way to New York to sit down with none other than Hot 97’s own, Funkmaster Flex. Marking the 71st installment of Funk Flex’s freestyle series, Vic Mensa goes full throttle over N.O.R.E.’s 1998 debut-LP cut, “Banned From TV.”

Going in for five minutes, this Chicago native doesn’t hold his tongue as he addresses his views on record sales, MCs, the nonbelievers, DJ Akademiks, and much more.
