Martin Shkreli Opens Sale of Coveted Wu-Tang Clan Album on eBay

Are you over the trolling of hip-hop by Martin Shkreli yet? Whether you are or not, Shkreli’s stamp on the game is continuing as he is looking to sell the only copy of the Wu-Tang Clan’s 2015 album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin on eBay.
On eBay Shkreli described the album as “This is the one and only Wu-Tang album” before detailing his original reason for purchase was to reward the legendary group for their efforts over the years.
“I decided to purchase this album as a gift to the Wu-Tang Clan for their tremendous musical output. Instead I received scorn from at least one of their (least-intelligent) members, and the world at large failed to see my purpose of putting a serious value behind music,” Shkreli writes. “I will be curious to see if the world values music nearly as much as I have. I have donated to many rock bands and rappers over the years to ensure they can continue to produce their art when few others would.”
Shkreli originally copped the album at $2 million but began the bids at $1. He also added the disclaimer that he reserves the right to cancel the sale and also stated that he could “break this album in frustration.” Let’s hope for a sale rather than the later.
