On September 4th, A&E will officially release the first ever estate-approved documentary about the Notorious B.I.G. titled Biggie: The Life of the Notorious B.I.G..

This week, A&E has released the documentary’s first trailer and it features appearances from NY staples Jay-Z and Nas, who both clearly felt a major impact from Biggie Smalls.

In the teaser, Hov and Nas find themselves reminiscing on their love and passion for Biggie, while even reciting certain lyrics from his hit track “Who Shot Ya?”. The full trailer will also include appearances from Puff Daddy, Lil Cease, Voletta Wallace, and others who were closely connected to B.I.G.

The documentary will premiere on A&E on September 4th at 8pm EST., and again, this is the first documentary that was officially approved by Biggie’s estate. In other words, this will likely be the best one yet.
