Releasing his debut album The Autobiography just a couple days ago, Vic Mensa kicks off his campaign for the project – making his to New York to sit down with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club.

During the close to 45-minute interview with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God, the Roc Nation artist talks about studying the greats and not understanding Hip Hop in the beginning, getting praise from HOV, racism in Chicago, being in a dark place and his debut serving as an outlet to express his feelings, becoming hypocritical of the music he was performing, mental health, beefing with Lil Yachty, and much more.
