Frank Ocean is a man of mystery, but when he wants to make an impact on our culture, he certainly knows how to.

This past weekend, California enjoyed the FYF Fest, where Frank was one of the headliners. While many skeptics and critics questioned whether Frank would show up, given that he’s cancelled other festival appearances this year, the free-spirited singer showed up and showed out.

He even brought superstar actor Brad Pitt on stage with him, who’s said in the past how much of a fan he is of Frank. “I find this young man so special,” said Pitt tells GQ. “Talk about getting to the raw truth. He’s painfully honest. He’s very, very special. I can’t find a bad one [song].”

During FYF Fest, Frank performed a rendition of The Jackson 5’s “Never Can Say Goodbye” when he brought Pitt out on stage. It was a moment to say the least.
