It seems like every couple of months we get bad news regarding DMX. This time, TMZ reports X just received 14 counts of tax evasion and is now in the custody of law enforcement.

The New York City U.S. Attorney Office states DMX is 1.7 million in debt to the IRS from a strong run of hits that namechecked “X Gon’ Give It to Ya” in the docs. The documents also showed that DMX has avoided using personal bank accounts, listed his income unknown and when tax deducted his earnings from Couples Therapy he demanded another check from producers, which he received.

If X is found guilty on the counts he will be in jail be facing 44 years.
