Oakland has always been the birth place of some of Hip Hop’s most precious gems. Kamaiyah, the newest diamond hailing from the region is perhaps the most alluring female rapper we’ve seen in years.

While the newcomer has fans more than anxious awaiting the release of her upcoming project Don’t Ever Get It Twisted, today she offers fans a bit of a treat with a visual for the her new track “Build You Up.” The video directed by Van White serves as classic tribute to the 90’s.

This year she’s not only established herself as one of the most highly anticipated acts in the game but she’s also held her own as the only female rapper in this year’s 2017 XXL Freshman Class.
