ScHoolboy Q recently sat down with Montreality for an impromptu interview about a slew of interesting topics.

If you’ve been a TDE fan since 2013, then you’ve definitely heard the chatter about a “Black Hippy” album between Kendrick, ScHoolboy, Ab Soul and Jay Rock, but unfortunately we haven’t made much progress towards getting there. To add to the sour news, Q reveals the likelihood of it dropping anytime soon is quite slim.

In the interview, Q says, “I’m already working on my next album, the chances of us getting into the studio together and working on Black Hippy is slim. I’m with it though, I wanna do it.”

Later in the interview, Q spoke about 50 Cent and how he went from a 50 hater to someone who idolized his craft. “I was hating on 50 so much cause I was so much into Nas,” Q says. “Once I got over that hate stage, 50 became one of my biggest inspirations to rap.”

ScHoolboy also spoke on losing his virginity, drug use, TDE artists being humble and more. Enjoy the full interview below and let’s all hope that “Black Hippy” album isn’t gone forever.
