A motivating departure from his usual turn up anthems, “Make A Way” has Tuki Carter painting vivid portraits of how he overcomes life’s obstacles.

As a single father, Tuki has been carving lanes for himself to be successful whether it’s in tattooing, rapping, or hustling. He’s also an active member of his community in Atlanta as the owner and chief artist for City of Ink, a successful chain of tattoo parlors.

Speaking about his newly-released album, Tuki explains: “Flowers and Planes is a lifestyle that includes music, tattooing, art, and just being great at what you do no matter the obstacles set in the way. It’s my first studio album and I’m a lil’ nervous, but the other part of the flowers and planes movement, which is weed, helps me with it all. Get it? Flowers [weed] and planes [paper]. I’m ready for the world to see what’s been in my head for the past few years and some change—including art and other things I’m about lifestyle-wise. Hella positivity.”

Tuki Carter’s “Make A Way” comes off his debut album Flowers and Planes, which released last month with features from Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, Chevy Woods, Rome Fortune, and more.
