golde

You may not know the name Golde just yet, but you’ve likely heard his music at some point.

Starting out as a producer and songwriter, Mobley has spent the majority of his time in the music industry behind-the-scenes. He produced the song “What Did I Miss” in the Steve Harvey movie, Act Like a Lady, Think Like A Man, he was nominated for a Grammy after producing “White Candle”, a track from Tamar Braxton’s album Love and War, and has countless songwriting and production credits from working with artists like Flo Rida, KeKe Wyatt and Timbaland.

However, over the past year, the Atlantic City native has been working to expand his career to include the titles of “rapper” and “singer.”

Thus far, Golde already has a handful of singles under his belt with features from Trevor Jackson, Bankroll Fresh, Jim Jones, DJ Blak, and 21 Savage. He is also featured on Fabolous’ single “Ashanti” from the project Summertime Shoot Out 2; for a rapper just diving into the game, he has already made an impressive start.

We had the pleasure of meeting up with Golde to discuss his Grammy nomination, working with 21 Savage, his time in the studio with Timbaland and much more.
