Bobby Shmurda adds on to his rap sheet today after the NY rapper was sentenced to a 4-year prison sentence for charges of perjury, weapon possession and promoting prison contraband from his early 2017 “shank” case. Lucky for Bobby, he will serve this new sentence concurrently with his other 7-year sentence, meaning he won’t be serving any additional jail time — just the 7 years he was previously sentenced to.

Earlier this year, while in jail, the rapper’s girlfriend tried to sneak in a homemade shank to Bobby, but was caught upon trying to transport it to him. Fast forward to today, Bobby and his girlfriend Kimberly Rousseau were indicted on the aforementioned charges.

“Pollard has now resolved all of his legal matters and looks forward to getting back with his career,” Bobby’s attorney told reporters after Friday’s sentencing. Hopefully this is the end of it all for Bobby and that he can finish his sentence as quickly as possible.
