You’re also set to release your debut album, Humble Beast in the upcoming months, talk to us about that.

G Herbo: I actually got the name “Humble Beast ” from one of my homies who plays basketball. He calls himself a humble beast and when I heard that, it strutted me because you can be humble and also have an inner animal/beast inside you, who’s always hungry to succeed.

You performed at the Mass Appeal stage during SXSW with Lil Wayne, Dave East, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie and many more. How was that experience?

G Herbo: Mass Appeal was lit! I had the chance to perform on the same stage as some of the people I admire. Man, Wayne, Boogie, East, it was definitely crazy.

Last but not least, what goals do you have for the rest of 2017?

G Herbo: I want to continue growing and bettering myself. I’ll be dropping my debut project too and to be honest, I’m just excited for everything that I’ve been working on. I’m focusing on executing every milestone that I accomplish and if last year was huge for me, this year is going to be ever better.

I also have a project with Lil Bibby called No Limitations dropping soon, and another project with Young Sizzle aka Southside, so there’s a lot of new music coming soon. Ya’ll stay tuned!
