The “La Di Da Di” legend’s “Children’s Story” is officially being turned into a children-styled book. The iconic song from 1988 tells a tale of crime, police chases, and an untimely of a child. It all starts with young kiddies asking “Uncle Ricky” for a bedtime story, and the rest is history from there. Even though the storyline isn’t the most traditional style, it’s not stopping Get on Down or Def Jam from bringing it life as an 18-page project with a puffy cover.

Readers can also expect the CD version of Rick’s The Great Adventures of Slick Rick with the publication. Look about grabbing you copy April 22nd.
