Nicki Minaj Ties Aretha Franklin For Most Songs On Hot 100 For Women

Nicki Minaj just leveled up yet again as she is now tied with one of the queens of soul, Aretha Franklin for the most total appearances by a woman on Billboard’s top 100’s 58-year history.

The superstar’s new single “Make Love” with Gucci Mane, which debuted at No. 78, was her 73rd entry in Billboard’s top 100, securing her spot at the top of the rankings. She announced this accomplishment on Instagram today (March 8th) thanking her fans for all of their support.

However, Nicki is not the only woman making moves up the rankings, Rihanna also recently passed Madonna with 58 total appearances on the Top 100 thanks to the success of Future’s song “Selfish” that she was featured on.
