25 years ago, in October of 1991, iconic west coast star Ice Cube released his 2nd official studio album Death Certificate. Fast-forward today, Cube has announced he will release an anniversary edition of the famed album and will include new music as well.

During a recent interview with Sway on Shade 45, Cube revealed the announcement and told us we can expect three new songs. “We’re gonna drop the 25th anniversary edition of Death Certificate,” Cube said. “We got three new songs on there. A song called ‘Only One Me,’ another song called ‘Good Cop, Bad Cop,’ and then a song called ‘Dominate the Weak.’”

As HipHop-n-More points out, Cube was supposed to drop his Everythang’s Corrupt album back in 2012, yet we haven’t heard much about it since. Apparently “Dominate The Weak” was supposed to be on there, so hopefully Cube keeps the same theme for this project that he originally thought of years ago.

Either way, as we all know, Cube’s been on fire the last decade for his work in the movie world, and more recently his 3-on-3 league. That said, it all started with a mic for Cube and we’re excited to get back to that.
