There’s Migos and then there’s everyone else. At the least, that’s what it feels like these days due to their admirable running of Hip Hop at the moment. Going back in time, just for reflection purposes, Migos has surely come a long way since early releases like Juug Season and No Label.

Nothing new for fans that have been around since the beginning, Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset’s ability to craft a hit record, purely in terms of sound, seems to be second nature. Having standouts like “Bando,” “Antidope,” & “Versace” sitting comfortably in their discography, the recent months have seen an impressive level-up from Migos. From the looks of it all, we’re in for a much-welcomed takeover.

What we didn’t know back in August 2016 is that the group’s free release of “Bad and Boujee” on their Soundcloud page would be the start of the following months being nothing short of out of this world. Going forward to land their first no. 1 single and being the topic of countless conversations on social media, it isn’t too wild to think that Migos is well on their way to becoming a household name.

Bringing us to this very moment, Migos has solidified their return with their new studio album, Culture. Home to a sea of sounds, some which may not be expected, Culture will be the soundtrack for many of us in 2017. Here with another First Listen, it’s time to get into some of the treasures found on their latest studio LP.
