Drake has given us a ton of amazing content over the years. In fact, he just spent his 400th consecutive week on the Hot 100 chart, surpassing every other artist. Eight years of top charting music? We’ll take it.

But, the one thing Drizzy does few and far between are interviews.

Most artists love the opportunity to speak about what’s going on in their lives and careers, but Drake has always kept that side of his career quiet. And in fact, because of that, it creates a lot more hype and anticipation when he does finally do a full interview.

Fast-forward to now, Drake has given us his first interview in quite a while. He did so on legendary basketball coach John Calipari’s podcast, “Cal Cast.”

During the 45-minute conversation, Drake spoke about the success he’s had in his career, starting off as an actor and transitioning to music, his passion for sports, what drew him to it, how Coach Cal is a mentor to him and much more.

The most exciting part, however, was when Drake revealed that he will be producing and hosting the 1st ever annual NBA Awards this year. This oughta be good.

Check out the exciting interview below.
