It’s safe to say that Jhené Aiko is aiming to have a very successful 2017. She’s been in the studio putting in work on her upcoming album, and just recently, the singer-songwriter took time to show love to those who support her.

The Souled Out vocalist made her way to New York City for an interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club where she talked about her latest single “Maniac,” collaborating with Big Sean, her upcoming projects, and much more.

Starting the interview off, Jhené touched on her new single “Maniac” by describing the type of maniac that she is. She went to say how she’s more of a sexual maniac than a crazier one.

As for working with her boo, Big Sean, the 28-year-old mentions that Sean wrote many of the songs off their 2016 project TWENTY88 and that she enjoyed collaboration with him because she’s been really into expressing herself.
