Donald Glover’s incredible success in 2016 is clearly transitioning into 2017.

After earning himself 2 Golden Globes last week, it was announced today that (the real) Donald has signed a production deal with FX Studios, the home of his hit show Atlanta.

The only bad news that comes with this announcement is the fact that season 2 of Atlanta has been pushed back from this year to next year in 2018.

According to Variety:

The pact calls for Glover to develop new projects for FX Networks’ outlets as well as other networks and streaming services. He will remain the writer, director, star and exec producer of “Atlanta.”

Congratulations to Mr. Glover for continuing to inspire us in more ways than one.
