Earlier this week, Shy Glizzy announced the change of his stage name to Jefe (new IG handle is @Jefe), a name fans of the D.C. artist are already familiar with from his Young Jefe series.

“I’m just rebranding myself,” Jefe told The FADER. “Reinventing on a whole higher level. I earned the title Jefe. It comes with maturity, more responsibility, and putting more people in the position of being a boss in every aspect. With a name like that, you don’t have a choice”

Today Jefe is back and with the release of his new EP, The World Is Yours sets the tone for what can be expected to be a big year from the artist following recent collabs with GoldLink and Lil Uzi Vert.

The 8-song project features Baton Rouge rapper YoungBoy “Never Broke Again” on the opening track, with additional features from Glizzy Gang artist 3 Glizzy, Atlanta’s Ralo, and Detroit’s Kash Doll.
