Over the years, GQ Magazine has given us some gems with cover stories and interviews. For their new Holiday issue, the well-respected magazine rounded up a proven music legend, and a future one in Rick Rubin and Kendrick Lamar for an interview between each other.
RR took the interviewer role and asked K. Dot a series of questions about him and his career. They talked about Kendrick’s intricate writing and recording process and the amount of work he puts in to each track, the success of his emotional and beloved anthem “Alright,” which legendary artists inspire him, his love and passion for the late Prince, why meditation is important to him and so much more.
