Kanye West’s now-extended Saint Pablo Tour was in Seattle last night for what will go down as one of the more memorable shows of the tour. It had been a little while since we got one, but last evening (10/19), Ye delivered a brief rant about an array of topics ranging from streaming services to his longtime friend and business partner Jay Z.

In what’s been talked about in the past by the superstar, Ye expressed his frustration regarding the beef between Apple Music and TIDAL, saying as a result of them not being able to work past “the politics,” and which artists/companies will get which percentages, the long-awaited Watch The Throne 2 album with Jay Z won’t be coming out.

Later in the rant, Ye talked about Drake’s VIEWS cut “Pop Style” and the reason why Hov’s only contribution was one line. “Out of respect for Meek Mill he didn’t want to be on the track,” Kanye stated. ” I said, look, I’ll call Drake, I’ll call Meek, we gotta squash this sh*t, we gotta let people have this song!”

I guess by that point, the tension between TIDAL and Apple Music, as well as Jay’s loyalty to Meek due to Meek being a Roc Nation signee, we never got the full version. “It was some TIDAL/Apple bullsh*t. This sh*t gets me tight every time I perform this motherf***er,” Ye said.
