If you plan on staying in the crib this weekend, Netflix will be releasing their latest original series The Get Down, which will be perfect for you to binge watch. As appropriate with a reduction like The Get Down there will be a soundtrack, apart of it is the Electric Lady herself Janelle Monae.

The singer’s contribution to the soundtrack is a “Hum Along & Dance” that’s made to get your body moving, something Monae knows about very well.

The new track was premiered on Apple Music in association with Ebro Darden, who did an introductory interview on the single’s creation before sharing the music. Check out “Hum Along & Dance” below.
