After Drake’s outburst about Hot 97’s Funk Master Flex on the Madison Square Garden stage, the city’s DJ decided to respond.

Bad blood developed between the two ever since Flex outted Drake for using ghostwriters. Well, things were recently taken a step further when Drizzy freestyled:

“They telling lies on Hot 97, that’s how it goes

 I told ‘em fire Funk Flex and then I’ll do your show”

Of course, Flex didn’t want to take this laying down. He went on to  Hot 97 to broadcast his response by standing by his beliefs in the Canadian rapper’s talents. He recognized that Drake does write and is quite successful, but there are “a couple of key things that he didn’t.”
