As the years pass, our favorite classic albums continue to break records. The same can now be said for Nelly’s debut album Country Grammar; according to the RIAA, the timeless album is now officially certified Diamond, meaning it has sold 10 million copies.

There are only eight other albums to ever go Diamond, making this feat super rare. They are:

1. 2Pac ‘All Eyez On Me’
2. 2Pac ‘Greatest Hits’
3. Eminem ‘The Eminem Show’
4. Eminem ‘The Marshall Mathers LP’
5. Outkast ‘Speakerboxxx/The Love Below’
6. The Notorious B.I.G. ‘Life After Death’
7. MC Hammer ‘Please Hammer, Don’t Hurt ‘Em’
8. Beastie Boys ‘Licensed To Ill’

You’ll also notice that only six total artists have achieved a Diamond plaque. Well, done Nelly.

The RIAA surprised Nelly during a recent show with the plaque and the announcement. For our younger readers, the album included hit songs like “Ride With Me,” “Country Grammar,” “Hot In Here” and a ton of others. The album sold 235,000 copies in the first week and didn’t slow down ever since.

Congrats to Nelly!
